The Episcopal Church is part of the Anglican Communion, and is comprised of 109 dioceses in 16 nations. At the head of the Anglican Communion is the Archbishop of Canterbury, The Most Revd and Rt. Hon. Justin Welby.
We pursue fellowship and service opportunities to significantly connect with others.
The Good News of Jesus Christ is relevant to your life. It’s not just what Jesus said, but how He lived. We seek to model Christ via the Holy Spirit and be formed in His likeness.

Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, we welcome and accept you, and we trust God to take you where God wants you in God’s timing. We want to be a safe place for you to experience God’s grace, love and presence with us. Welcome home, beloved.” – Father Rick
Did you know that The Meals on Wheels Program for Orange County started at St. Michael’s in 1972?
“The Gathering” as it is now known, has evolved since then and it delivers a hot meal every Tuesday to the Coalition for the Homeless, in downtown Orlando. The Gathering is a unique ministry organized to feed the homeless people in the Orlando area and is sponsored jointly by the Church of the Resurrection in Longwood. Since 1990 approximately over 200,000 meals have been fed to the homeless men, women, and children through this great outreach, but it takes a lot of resources.
The Preschool will provide a cheerful and educational preschool experience for children toddler age and older.
The children participate in free exploration of play centers and materials, as well as planned group and individual activities. Art, music, Spanish, dramatic play, literature, science and discovery, hands-on-math, creative cooking and outdoor recreations are all part of the curriculum. All activities are based on developmentally appropriate practices of Early Childhood Education.
The Preschool teachers and staff strive to reflect the love of Jesus Christ in their thoughts, words and deeds. Daily prayer, Bible stories and Christian songs are part of the curriculum. The older children visit the Chapel once a week to learn more about God’s love expressed through Jesus Christ.
We believe that each child is a gift from God. In the Preschool Ministry, we strive to guide each child toward his/her special God given talents. More Information
